Firebrand Arms Mustang BR

This is the Mustang Battle Rifle. Based on the M14 EBR, the Mustang is scaled down slightly and chambered for the well-rounded 6.5x45mm GunTech cartridge. The version shown has a 6-position M4-style stock, quad rails and a 72-round drum magazine. The sights are fully adjustable and capable of good accuracy, unlike the Mini-14. The Mustang could technically be classified as a heavy assault rifle, but it is more accurate than that, cohering with US military doctrine of accurate fire over massed fire. The 6.5 cartridge is capable of great range, able to send a 123-grain Lapua Scenar bullet at speeds in excess of 2700 f/s.
